Railgun Logistics

Automation, expanding, mining, production, logistics and sometimes, the logistic railguns have to be used to repel others as their interests may not align with yours.

ASEMA has a dark cosmic lore that provides a setting for automation, expansion, exploration and factory building.

Unique mechanisms:

• Railgun Logistics replace belts, inserters, splitters, etc.
• Hard scifi machinery: Exotic techs will emerge
• Gravity applies to everything: Manage it
• Free form machine placement: No grids
• Machines can be flown around, landed on moons, etc.
• ..But Ship-class machines are better for actual long range movement
• Attach machines to other machines (railguns or generators, for example)
• Very large machines may emit gravity: Everything runs under the same physics
• Logistic payloads are physical objects, thus gravity and physics affect them
• Scalability is core foundation: Optimization of custom physics engine, machine core and such, are in key role for the EA and full builds
• Modding is another core foundation: Everything runs as a "mod"

Note from the dev.

Latest update (16A) provides more polished experience. Feedback helps the developer (hi) to pinpoint the weaknesses and strengths of the concept. I want to hear your thoughts, your suggestions, your ideas. ASEMA discord has 100+ members and a big bunch of playtesters. It is very possible I take in more playtesters in the last months prior to EA launch - this is operated in the Discord. While the Demo focuses on early Bulk and Act 1, the EA will include many tech branches and a lot of machines and economy to map out.

• Polish, QoL, mid/endgame content, hostile systems, more depth, UX/UI improvement, onboarding improvement
• Early access:  additional ~8 new tech branches, endgame, plan is support for modding & coop
• 1.0: complete tech branch amount ~13 with 4 endgame solutions, coop, modding
